Philippe Gayral purchased the MW40 from the cellars of Domaine Bernard Marie, the same owner as Château Viguerie. The dry weather of Roussillon and the mainly schist soils and large rocks found at the foothills of the Pyrenees allow for the freshness and acidity in these “poire pour la soif” wines.
