Vineyards & Viticulture
From a 0.22 hectare vineyard planted in 1955, located in a sunny lower part of the cru touching Santenots. Vines are trained 1/3 Cordon de Royat and 2/3 Guyot.

Soils
The upper band has brown / blonde soils, stony, rather steep limestone-clay and early maturity

Harvest & Vinification
Pneumatic pressing, then aging for 17 months in Tronçais barrels. 25 to 30% new oak that is medium-toast and rinsed with water in order to limit excessively woody notes in the wine. 17 months of aging and bottling without fining and without filtration.
