This cuvée pays tribute to Louis Pasquion, Gilles Robin's great-grandfather, who acquired his first Syrah vines in 1920. Today Gilles honors the family's passion and heritage by making this exceptional cuvée from the oldest vines of the estate, planted in the 1960s. Vineyards are managed with respect for the land in regards to plowing and weeding. Organic plant-based fertilizer and compost are used to support microbial life for release of nutrients in the soils.

Only produced in great vintages, 1920 is a blend of eight specifically-selected demi-muids from separate plots. Vinified for 18 months in small oak barrels.
